What this is

The base stays.

EZMarkers are small flat markers built to hold drill spacing when cones get kicked. Sit under a regular agility cone or mark a spot on their own. Stay flush on grass or turf.

Third rep into a drill. A cleat clips the cone. It skips off-mark. Without a marker, the spacing is gone — pace it off again or call the rep. With a marker, the cone goes back on the base. Same spot as rep one. Drill keeps moving.

Most coaches use markers as the second point with an EZCone — the cone holds the start, the marker holds the far end, the tape locks the distance. Buy in packs of 1, 2, or 4 depending on how many drill spots you set up.

Where this fits

What it's for.

  • Anchor your cones

Set the marker first, drop the cone on top. When the cone gets kicked, the marker holds the spot — drop the cone back on, same spacing as rep one.

  • Mark the splits

Use markers between cones to hold split distances inside a sprint or shuttle. Same spacing every rep, no second tape measure.

  • Replace lost gear

Markers go missing more than cones — pocketed, kicked into bags, left on fields. Add packs as you need them.

  • Add to your kit

If you started with the Starter Kit and want more split markers, or you have a 4-cone setup that needs more anchor points, add packs in the size you need.

Common questions

What buyers ask.

  • What's the difference between EZMarkers sold separately and the ones in the kits?

None — same marker. The 1-, 2-, and 4-packs sold here are the exact same component included in the kits. Buy these when you need more than what came with your kit, or as standalone markers to use with cones you already own.

  • How many should I buy?

Depends on how you set up your drills. For anchoring cones, 1 marker per cone. For splits inside a sprint, 2-4 markers per drill. Most coaches who already own a kit add a 2-pack or 4-pack to extend their setup.

  • What surface do they work on?

Grass and turf. The markers sit flat on the surface and stay in place when an athlete kicks past them. Hard surfaces (concrete, gym floors) work too but the marker won't grip the same way.

  • Can I use them with cones I already own?

Yes. The marker sits under any standard agility cone or works on its own as a spot marker. No mechanism, no tape, no kit-only feature — they're standalone components.

  • How are they shipped?

Hand-assembled in Tampa, Florida and shipped in protective packaging.
